Buon Natale! Merry Christmas! Feliz Navidad!

Buon Natale a tutti e grazie mille per gli auguri che Arnau sta ricevendo da ogni angolo del mondo!
Questa sera anche Arnau ha fatto una cena natalizia ed era proprio soddisfatto.
Inizia ad avere delle belle guanciotte.

Oggi hanno controllato la ferita dell'operazione e sta tardando piú del previsto a cicatrizzarsi.
Pare sia dovuto al fatto che durante l'operazione ci sono state complicazioni, per cui hanno dovuto chiudere in fretta per stabilizzarlo e non hanno potuto seguire la procedura perfetta. Peró non dovrebbe avere conseguenze, semplicemente ci metterá ancora un po' di tempo a chiudersi bene.

L'altra notizia del giorno é che Arnau é stato spostato in una culla normale, pronto ad essere trasferito al secondo piano, sempre un'unitá di cure intensive, peró é l'ultimo passo prima di lasciare l'ospedale.
Speriamo che in un paio di settimane Arnau possa tornare a casa, anche se dovrá comunque andare spesso all'ospedale per proseguire con la fase di recupero.

This evening also Arnau had a Christmas dinner and really enjoyed it.
He's starting to have chubbier cheeks  :)

Today, they've checked Arnau's scar and it's taking longer than excepted to heal.
It looks like that's due to the complications that he went through during the first big surgery, which forced the doctors to close everything in a hurry and could not follow all the perfect steps to ensure a fast healing. That should not have big implications, it's simply taking much longer to heal.

The other news of the day is that Arnau has been moved in a normal crib, ready to be moved upstairs in the last section of the intensive care unit, which represents the last step before leaving the hospital.
We're starting to hope that in a couple of weeks Arnau might be able to come home, even if he'll have to go often to the hospital for the various checks and for the recuperation phase.
